Sharon Cheren is an Associate Attorney at New York's Silver & Kelmachter, LLP. Her practice focuses on helping those injured in accidents or by medical malpractice recover lost wages and pay for medical expenses.
Prior to joining Silver & Kelmachter, Ms. Cheren gained significant and extensive litigation experience as a Prosecutor at the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, where she successfully managed a broad range of cases from inception to disposition, including the seizure and forfeiture of unlicensed vehicles illegally providing transportation to the public.
Ms. Cheren graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Purchase earning a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. Pursuing her advocacy for justice, she attended New York Law School in the evening while working full time in the Tort Division for New York City's Corporation Counsel. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2015 and was awarded the Dean's High Honor Roll.
Ms. Cheren is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Southern District Court of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association
