As an associate attorney, Michael Dolgow focuses his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice and cases brought pursuant to the Child Victims Act. Prior to joining the firm, Michael acquired extensive litigation experience in an array of fields both in municipal and insurance defense.
He began his professional career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York where he represented various city agencies in cases involving a wide range of issues, including civil rights, intentional torts, negligent supervision, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. As a member of a trial team for several years, he tried numerous cases to verdict, obtaining many favorable outcomes for his clients, several of which were published in local media. He received a Division Chief Award in recognition of his work.
In the private sector, Michael represented physicians, hospitals, long term care facilities and other healthcare entities in medical malpractice litigation. Over the past several years, he has handled numerous mediations, settlement negotiations, and complex structured settlements.
Michael received his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School where he spent a summer studying law in Beijing, China. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University
where he studied Political Science and History, graduating with Honors. He is a member of both the New York and New Jersey Bar.
